ANNUAL STRATOS STASINOS AWARD

ANNUAL STRATOS STASINOS AWARD

Greek Animation has been having a strong presence over the last three years in the cutting of the New Year’s pie & the awarding of the Annual Stratos Stasinos Award of ASIFA HELLAS-Hellenic Animation Association.

During the annual events, we present the three Greek movies that are distinguished after a vote of the members of ASIFA HELLAS. The term Greek film includes either Greek productions (including student films) or films produced abroad by creators of Greek or Greek Cypriot origin, whose films were screened at festivals in Greece.

The selection of animation films was made by the official competition sections (international or Greek) of the respective festivals, as well as by the section of the panorama (out of competition) for films of the last three (3) years, selected after an open invitation of participation, according to the terms of each festival. Greek animation films that were shown in the context of tributes, retrospectives, special events etc. are not eligible.

The awarding of the annual Stratos Stasinos Award is presented with the support of the Hellenic Cinema Center. Ελληνικού Κέντρου Κινηματογράφου.
